Shop locally, eat globally has never been more true as we tiptoe into 2021. This recipe is an easy one with a twist. Not your typical American Chinese take-out. Instead this stir fry creates a Thai-inspired sweet, sour, and savory combination in less than 15minutes!

And take it one step further and pair it with a Cabernet Sauvignon or a darker beer of your choice. Cheers!

Shopping list:

Cabernet1 Pairing Salts™ | 1/2 lb choice of protein | *1C snow peas | 1C baby corn, canned and drained | 1tsp peanut or nut butter | 1tsp soy or tamari | 1tsp vinegar | 1tbsp oil for stir fry

*Vegetables and protein can be substituted as desired. The combination of Cabernet1 Salts and remaining flavors will yield similar sauce results.

Directions:

1. - Marinate 1/2lb protein of choice in soy, vinegar, and peanut butter while heating oil for two minutes on high in pan. Add protein mixture to pan and stir fry so ingredients do not stick. Reduce heat when protein takes color.

2. - Add vegetables and Cabernet1 Pairing Salts and continue sauteing for five minutes. Remove from heat and finish with more Cabernet1 Pairing Salt if desired.

3. - Plate and enjoy with either a Cabernet Sauvignon or a dark ale or stout beer.
